It applies to theshaena.com and the services offered through it, including the newsletter, the quiz, contact messages, and purchases made through our connected checkout and course platforms. It does not cover third-party sites we link to, which have their own policies.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to serve you well:
- Your name and email, when you join the newsletter, take the quiz, buy a product, or write to us.
- Purchase and account details, handled by our checkout and course providers. We never see or store your full payment card details.
- Basic usage and device data, such as pages viewed, approximate location, and browser type, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Anything you choose to tell us in messages, comments, surveys, or coaching.
How we use your information and why
We use your information to send you the content and emails you asked for, to deliver and support what you have purchased, to answer your messages, to keep the Site secure, and to understand which content genuinely helps so we can improve. Our legal grounds are: your consent (for example, the newsletter), performing our agreement with you (delivering a purchase), our legitimate interest in running and improving the Site safely, and compliance with the law. We never sell your information.
The services we share it with
We work with trusted providers who process information only on our behalf and only as needed, including our course platform, Teachable, and its checkout and payment providers, our email and newsletter tool, our website host, and analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, and we would transfer it as part of a future sale or reorganisation of the business, always under this policy.
Where your information is held
Our website, course platform, and several of our providers operate servers outside Israel, including in the United States. Where your information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to see that it stays protected to the standard described here.
Cookies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. You can read what they are and manage your choices in our Cookie Policy.
Emails and marketing
If you join our list, we send you content and occasional offers. Our email tool may record whether an email was opened or a link clicked, so we can send fewer, more relevant emails. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email with one click, at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to run the business responsibly, and to meet legal requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

You may ask us at any time to access, correct, update, or delete the information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain uses, to receive a copy of it, or to withdraw consent you have given. Write to hello@theshaena.com and we will respond with care, within the time the law allows. If you are in the EU or UK, or a California resident, you have additional rights under your local law, and the same contact applies. The Site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Children
This Site and our products are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the Site and the business grow. The current version always lives on this page, with its update date shown above.
